The Farmer’s Market Kauai

The lush Garden Island of Kauai is home to some of the best farmer’s markets in the world.  On the Islands South Shore in Poipu you can find a delectable assortment of mouth watering tropical fruits and vegetables in a rainbow of colors.  Wednesday afternoons from 3:00 – 6:00 PM. You will find the Kauai Culinary Market hosted by the Shops at Kukuiula at the center of the shopping center. There you will be subjected to live Island music that fits the air. While you fill your basket with a variety of farm fresh fruits, vegetables, pies, jam and other local foods. You will also be able to get freshly made soups and bakery items.

You can also watch South Shore Chefs as they take the stage and make some of their local specialties while sitting at the Wine & Beer Garden.  Plan on spending a few hours at this market.  It’s an event the whole family can enjoy.

On Tuesday afternoon you can also locate the Kauai Farmers Market in Kalaheo, a short distance (15 min) from the South Shore. Located at the Kalaheo Neighborhood Center (on Papalina Road just off Kaumualii Highway) at 3:00 PM.
