The island of Kauai is renowned for its moniker, the “garden island” which was bestowed upon it due to its having the wettest climate and being the most emerald of all the islands within the Hawaiian archipelago, as well as being the oldest of the group which resulted in the passing of countless epochs allowing the wind and rain to impeccably chisel the terrain into some of the world’s most impressive and awe-inspiring topography, complete with the high-reaching pinnacles along the Na Pali Coast, and the intricately etched valleys of Waimea Canyon, all of which will leave you in wonderment at the sheer beauty all around.

For these reason alone, provides you the excuse to come, explore the island and stay at our Kauai Vacation Rental.

Don’t Miss This

Helicopter tours are an extremely sought-after mode of sightseeing in this location, given that no other means permit the observation of the sheltered and formidable hinterlands as well as the sequestered shorelines. The apex of Mount Waialeale holds the record for the driest location on Earth, preventing an average of 480 inches of rainfall annually. The abundance of precipitation chisels its way down the cliffs, producing innumerable cascades of a variety of sizes and shapes. Our highest endorsement for visitors to this island is to participate in a helicopter tour; we cannot fathom the foregone conclusion of spending a substantial sum of money to journey to Kauai for leisure and not investing the additional sum to witness this magnificent place from the vantage point of the sky.

Eventually all that water finds its way to the lowland streams. The Wailua River is the only navigable waterway in the Hawaiian islands; another of our favorite tours takes you by kayak up the river with a hike to a secluded secret waterfall.

Most Unique Adventure

Mountain Tubing through the ditches and tunnels that were carved over 100 years ago to channel water from the rain forest to the thirsty sugar cane plantations that once thrived here. This tour is extremely popular (especially in the summertime) and is often sold out more than a week in advance!

Another must-do event is to experience the rugged cliffs, sea caves, waterfalls, and towering spires of the Na Pali Coast. We offer a wide range of tours to this wilderness … ocean rafting, sea kayaking, sailing catamaran, sunset cruises … and of course helicopter tours fly over this area as well.

Kauai also has a variety of great zipline tours, ATV adventures, horseback riding, luaus … you really can do it all on this amazing island!

Each of these adventures can be easily reached from our Kauai Vacation Rental at Poipu Beach in the most Southern part of the Island.
