This is a spacious, clean and very well stocked 1 bedroom condo. We have been coming to Poipu for over 14 years and in the past stayed at Kiahuna Plantation. This was our first time at Poipu Kai and we were NOT disappointed. We were there with our 2 teens (boy & girl aged 19 & 17) and this condo was definitely big enough for all 4 of us (much more spacious than the Kiahuna 1 beds). Chris was amazing and so helpful with all the arrangements. Our flight arrived late on Christmas night so I asked if he could have some basics left at the condo for us – snacks, milk, pineapple, etc. – he arranged this, as well as an air mattress for our son, and late check out the evening of our departure.
The condo is well kitted out for days at the beach – chairs, cooler and snorkel gear. And the kitchen is well stocked – we especially appreciated the pyrex containers for storing left overs. We loved staying at Poipu Kai as it made us explore different beaches and parts of the island. In the past at Kiahuna we would get lazy and just go the beach out front. We preferred this experience. Our only criticisms were there weren’t enough chairs on the lanai for the 4 of us to eat outside – we had quite hot evenings. And the entertainment system was not the easiest to use. VRBO won’t let is give 4.5 stars but that is what we would rate this condo and our experience. We will definitely be back for future stays. We spent 2 weeks in Manualoha 601. The condo was great for 2 people with a good king size bed and complete kitchen for cooking. It’s very private with no one above and secluded patio in back.
The condo was very clean upon arrival. We had lived in Other parts of Hawaii and know how hard it can be to keep the bugs away. We didn’t see any Bugs!
The condo is patrolled by security day and night. The extra security made us feel very safe.
This condo is probably the most private out of all the condos we saw. The lanai backs up to some trees and out of view of other lanai’s. We enjoyed having our coffee / tea there in the mornings.
Overall we would recommend this condo to family / friends and would stay here again!

If you’re looking for a beautiful relaxing vacation this is the place to go! Their condo is situated in a well maintained neighborhood only a few minutes walk from Poipu beach, where we saw sea lions and turtles sunbathing and splashing in the waves.
This wonderful vacation rental has all the amenities of home, including quality bedding and all the kitchen essentials for cozy nights in or for making breakfast in bed for your loved ones. The owners even supply many of the necessities to enjoy a beach vacation including snorkeling equipment, beach chairs, and umbrellas. They really thought of everything! We loved sitting on the lanai out back enjoying some pre-dinner cocktails or walking over to Kalapaki Joe’s for happy hour.
We can’t wait for our next Kauai vacation and will definitely stay here again!
