5 Stars – MANUALOHA 601 is an amazing property for up to four people for staying at Poipu. Unlike most of other condos at Poipu Kai, this condo has a single level, so you won’t have neighbors walking upstairs. There are two pools, one with ocean view, and one with hot spa. 10 minutes walk from Poipu beach with excellent snorkeling (though you have to cross the street to get there).
The condo is very well equipped:
– Apple TV – for those in Apple ecosystem and kids is a huge plus
– Water filter (replaced regularly) – no need to buy water at store
– Beach chairs, umbrella, and snorkeling gear
– Safe for your travel docs
– Coffee grinder and brewing machine
– Quiet dishwasher
– Community grill (steps from the entrance door)
– Backyard table and chairs

The condominium was everything we hoped for. No surprises, comfy bed, near the pool and beach. The exceptional part was the property manager, Chris Wright. We dealt with him with our initial booking in 2019, Covid cancellation in 2020, rebooking in 2021 and the actual visit there in 2022. His responses were fast and clear. If there was a problem, ever, I’m sure Chris would deal with it promptly.

The condo was great, Poipu Beach was better and Chris made it exceptional.

A Great Stay on the South Side!

Just returned from an incredible week on Kauai. The latter part of our trip we stayed at this unit on the south side of the island and had a great experience. With two young kids in tow, our days are typically spent at the beach in the AM followed by the pool for the rest of the day. This place was set up well for our needs, coming with a closet full of beach and pool gear that we didn’t have top lug all the way from home.

The private backyard space was excellent and overall the house was stocked with everything else we needed and we could focus on nothing but quality family time!

Little tip for families with kiddos: Poipu Beach across the beach is great but gets crowed real quick. If you don’t mind a little drive, Salt Pond Bay further west is where we spent a couple of our beach days and loved all it had to offer.

First class lodging and location!

Our recent stay at Manualoha #601 was a vacation to remember!
The island of Kauai is truly amazing but our condo was over the top.
The furnishings, artwork, and amenities were outstanding and the
host and general manager Chris Wright, was very accommodating.
